Cashmere is a natural fibre that loves water and is renewed with each wash be it by machine or by hand. That said, following a couple of rules will ensure you and your garment enjoy a long life together.
*Avoid hot water. Wash in cool/cold water
*Use a gentle soap
*Ease up on the spin. Wash using the gentle cycle if machine washing
*Turn garment inside out for washing
*Do not use fabric softeners (these will damage natural fibres over time)
*Lay flat to dry, avoid direct sunlight or other heat sources and turn your garment once to ensure proper drying. You may want to remove excess moisture and speed up the drying by rolling the garment in a towel and pressing gently.
*If dried properly, your garment should not require ironing however should you need to remove a wrinkle, use a steamer OR turn garment inside out and use a cotton cloth between the garment and the iron.
